Mission

The Louisiana support group of the Cicatricial Alopecia Research Foundation (CARF) was established in 2010 to provide support, education, and friendship among patients affected with scarring alopecias.  Quarterly meetings allow individuals to share their stories and take part in activities to increase awareness, raise funds, and ultimately help identify a cure.  Friends, family members, hairdressers, and others are also welcome to come, discuss the condition and learn more about it.

Dr. Nicole Rogers serves as the supporting physician. She is a board certified dermatologist specializing in hair loss and hair restoration.
